With so many different Boxes on the market, the idea of different colors wasn't far behind.

Today, departments either order, or paint their Boxes in nearly every color of the rainbow. Some in White, others in Lime, many in Highway Yellow, and yes, even Orange has been been used over traditional Red.

In instances where contrasting visibility has been of concern, the use of the word FIRE, printed in "reverse", so as to show white letters on a red background, has served well.

Visibility of the word FIRE is further enhanced by the fact that, like all our Box Stickers, the red or "printed area" is also fully reflective, and much like a "STOP" sign, this feature makes the reverse color feature, an eye-catching design.
